The itinerary of the excursion:
10.00 am Meeting with the family friendly guide in Piano Provenzana. Gathering of participants and boarding the jeep at 10.30. Nb the tour is organized by a partner company, however we guarantee the presence of one of our family friendly guides for greater attention and customisation!
10.30 am Start of the jeep journey together with other participants.
From Piano Provenzana you reach an altitude of 2,900 by taking off-road vehicles along a high mountain track, traced among suggestive expanses of lava and volcanic sand along the fracture that opened during the 2002 eruption. Along the way up we will stop to reach the buttonhole of the craters of the 2002.
Continuing our excursion with off-road vehicles up to an altitude of 2840 meters we will reach the volcanological observatory of Pizzi Deneri. From this point the climb on foot will begin on a path surrounded by volcanic waste and bombs. The total climb is 300 meters until you reach a panoramic point, at a height of 2900 meters.
During the walk, children will be able to discover the volcano by playing with experiments, games and illustrations. Family team games and fun, fun activities.
1.00 pm At the end of the excursion we will return by jeep to reach Piano Provenzana again.
