🌿 What to expect
A slow-paced, authentic experience in the Sicilian countryside, on the slopes of Mount Etna.
A 2-hour walk along rural paths, dry-stone walls and farmland, accompanied by a local guide who shares stories about country life, traditions and the rhythms of the past, with warmth and simplicity.
This is not just a walk, but a different way to experience Sicily: slowing down, listening to real stories and reconnecting with nature.
🐴 The donkeys: gentle travel companions
Donkeys have always been part of Sicilian rural life. Calm, patient and friendly, they are perfect companions for families and children, who can learn to approach animals with respect and curiosity.
🔹 Donkeys can carry people up to a maximum weight of 80 kg (176 lbs)
🔹 Otherwise, or if preferred, you can walk alongside the donkey, still fully enjoying the experience.
The activity is designed to be relaxed, safe, and suitable for families
